OFFSET ACCUSED OF DEMANDING FEMALE TEXAS RAPPER GET PLASTIC SURGERY FOR RECORD DEAL

A rapperโ€™s physical appearance got so much to play in their careers. As Jack Harlow put it, itโ€™s the โ€œquickest way we process inspiration.โ€

Offset was allegedly lmaking moves to sign buzzing Texas native Big Jade, but she claims a conversation they had about wanting her to have plastic surgery deterred Jade from signing with the Migos rapper.
Big Jade detailed their conversations in a recent interview with Houston radio station 97.9 The Box. Although, she ended up signing to Alamo Records for half the advance that Offset was apparently offering.

โ€œI could have signed with Offset and he was willing to give me double what Alamo [Records] gave me,โ€ Big Jade explained.

โ€œI love Offset to death, I love him and Cardi B to death. I didnโ€™t sign with Offset because of a statement that he made about [starting] from scratch and get my body done. You ainโ€™t talked to me about getting my body done.
I probably would have wanted to get my body done but the fact that you ainโ€™t talked to me about it first โ€” if you would have gotten to know me and talked to me, you would have seen thatโ€™s not even what Iโ€™m pushing.โ€

Theโ€Dem Girlsโ€ rapper continued to give her thoughts on the Hip Hop landscape when it comes to sex appeal, โ€œI feel like Hip Hop died when titties and ass started becoming more important than the music. Iโ€™m not gone do that. Even if Iโ€™m not happy with something in myself, Iโ€™m still not gone do it. Thatโ€™s something that I battle with every day. Like, should I get this [procedure] done, should I get that done? Iโ€™m still learning how to love myself so thatโ€™s what I wanna push. I wanna show people that they can love themselves.โ€

It remains to be seen what the label situation means for the trajectory of her career. Big Jade released her Alamo Records debut Pressure earlier in May.
The compact 10-track project features collaborations with OMB Bloodbath and fellow Texas native Erica Banks.
