Time, Kwame is known for his revolutionary lyrics that seek to speak out for Africa's poor
masses and the few elites often proffering resolutions.

responsible for putting him in public lens.

Abaga was born in 1981 in Jos, Nigeria. He is considered an important figure in
the Nigerian rap scene and has contributed immensely to its growth. He gained
recognition from the release of 'Crowd Mentality' the first single from his LP
(Talk About It). Crowd Mentality first went viral in Jos before diffusing
nationwide, gaining recognition for M.I almost instantly. The release of his
debut album 'Talk About It' was welcomed with positive remarks and gets him the
respect he so desired. He even came to be called 'Nigeria's hip hop Messiah', a
position he has managed well in the last decade - constantly raising the bar
and paving way for other rappers that have also come to be seen as pro-verifiers,
most notably his younger brother Jesse Jagz and his longtime friend and partner
