RubberStamp are UK based songwriters, musicians and producers who collaborates with international singers. Primary members are Gary Blake (aka neon radiation), Dave Mcfarlane (aka DrJkl) and Chris Gotch (aka gotchy).

Their first self titled album came out in 2022 and was heavily influenced by the sound of UK Tech House artist ‘CamelPhat’ amongst others. The new ‘Liquid’ album as the title suggests moves more into that Chill meets Drum and Bass sound called Liquid.

The 12 Liquid Album Songs:
– Peng Fever (feat. Sheddie Bankz) (Blake/Macfarlane) This started out as an Oriental inspired dance song by DrJkl. But with the addition of lyrics by Neon Radiation and vocals by Nigerian Sheddie Bankz, this song took on a more of a laid-back Afrobeat vibe.

– Dizzy Heights (feat. Sheddie Bankz) (Blake) The 2nd single from the album to be released on 15-Dec-23 and 1st in the Blade Runner inspired trio of songs on the album. The bass on this song definitely put it squarely in the Drum and Bass genre and is more uptempo that the previous song.

– Secrets And Lies (feat. Manuela Penia) (Blake) Argentinian singer Manuela provides sumptuous vocals over a pure pop track that was inspired by seeing live accordionist Alicia Edelweiss. Lyrically, it explores a relationship that seems initally seems transparent but has a darker side.

– Endless Nights (feat. INERT) (Blake) The 1st single from the album to be released on 24-Nov-23 and 2nd in the trio of Blade Runner inspired songs. This time Jamaican singer INERT provides the vocals soaring over a neon lit cityscape.

– I Feel Nothing (feat. Manuela Penia & INERT) (Blake) The 3rd single from the album to be released on 05-Jan-24. Stripped back musically to allow the vocals to do the heavy lifting. Although this is a slow starter, it finally reaches top gear in the final chorus.

– Robot Revolt (Blake) This track was originally featured on the Neon Radiation album ‘Future TV Themes’ but has been extended and given the Drum and Bass treatment here.

– Get Out My Bed (feat. Sheddie Bankz) (Blake/Gotch) Again this song features Sheddie’s vocals and is about how sometimes it’s hard to get someone out of your head (as well as your bed) especially if you’re only half trying. Gotchy provided the beats with additional music and lyrics by Neon Radiation.

– Ghosts (feat. INERT) (Blake) INERT returns to sing this song about how relationships from the past that don’t always end well can haunt you in the future. A piano and electronica blend provides a cinematic backdrop.

– Stuff Of Life (feat. Manuela Penia) (Blake/Gotch) Uplifting song about how everyday things are the essential stuff of life. Manuela returns to sing lyrics by Neon Radiation over a pop track by Gotchy.

– Neon Lights (feat. INERT) (Blake) The final track in the Blade Runner trio of songs finds our man searching through city bars for his missing partner. INERT sings over an atmospheric Drum and Bass track.

– City Of Lost Souls (feat. Sheddie Bankz) (Blake/Macfarlane) The penultimate track is a softer piano led song and features Sheddie back on vocal duties. Lyrically it’s about how sometimes people’s dreams don’t always work out but there is light at the end of the tunnel.

– Parallel Worlds (Blake) Another cinematic track from the ‘Future TV Themes’ album reworked for this ‘Liquid’ Drum and Bass album.
