August 7, 2001, marked a significant milestone in Hip Hop history as Jadakiss released his highly anticipated debut album “Kiss Tha Game Goodbye”. The album’s impact was felt across the music industry, solidifying Jadakiss’ position as a rising star.


 

Initially scheduled for release in April 2000, the album faced delays, but the wait was worthwhile. “Kiss Tha Game Goodbye” debuted at number five on the US Billboard 200, selling an impressive 204,000 copies in its first week.

 
The album’s success continued, earning a gold certification from the RIAA for sales exceeding 500,000 copies in the United States. As of June 2004, the album had sold 877,000 copies, cementing its status as a commercial triumph.
