A Massive Thank You to Our Loyal Readers: Reflecting on 2024 and Looking Ahead to 2025

Mr. Benjamins Avatar

First off, letโ€™s hit pause on everything and give you, our loyal reader, a well-deserved round of applause. Whether youโ€™re here sipping coffee or vibing to your favorite beats, youโ€™ve made 2024 nothing short of legendary for ThisIsHipHopHQ. And yes, when we say “legendary,” we mean it like Nas dropping Illmatic legendary.

This year has been a whirlwind. We kicked things off with around 500 submissions on Grooverโ€”a respectable number, no doubt. But today? Weโ€™ve surpassed 1,000! Thatโ€™s right, over a thousand artists trusting us to showcase their creativity. Talk about leveling up!

Expanding Our Horizons

This year, weโ€™ve also upped our collaboration game. Weโ€™re thrilled to announce partnerships with platforms like ReverbNation, MusoSoup, and LetsSubmit. Each collaboration has brought us closer to fulfilling our mission: giving hip-hop artists the platform they deserve to shine.

Oh, and did we mention our audience? When we started this journey, hitting a million readers seemed like a dream. But now, with almost 2 million all-time readers, itโ€™s clearโ€”this isnโ€™t just our dream anymore. Itโ€™s a movement, powered by you.

Innovation Alert: Now You Can Listen!

Hereโ€™s another mic-drop moment: You can now listen to posts on our site. Thatโ€™s right. For those moments when your hands are full, or youโ€™re just in the mood to vibe out, weโ€™ve got you covered. Think of it as your personal hip-hop narrator bringing the culture to life.

Starting a Magazine: On Pause but Not Forgotten

In 2024, we also took a bold step by launching a magazine dedicated to hip-hop culture and stories. However, due to the growing workload, weโ€™ve decided to put it on pause for now. But donโ€™t worryโ€”weโ€™re committed to reviving it in 2025, bigger and better than ever. Stay tuned!

Whatโ€™s Next for 2025?

If 2024 was about growth, 2025 is about going global. Weโ€™re doubling down on our efforts to bring even more artists, stories, and hip-hop culture to your screens and speakers. Weโ€™re also inviting every artist out there: Why arenโ€™t you partnering with us yet? Get your music in front of millions by submitting it via Groover.

Keep Promoting Hip-Hop

Hip-hop isnโ€™t just a genre; itโ€™s a lifestyle, a voice, and a movement. Letโ€™s keep pushing the culture forward. Share our articles, follow us on Facebook, and encourage artists to join this ever-expanding community. Letโ€™s make 2025 a year to remember.

Your Turn to Shine

To every artist whoโ€™s submitted music, every reader whoโ€™s clicked, shared, or commented, and every partner whoโ€™s believed in usโ€”thank you. Hereโ€™s to breaking more records, telling more stories, and making more noise in the coming year.
