Cojak, a Seattle-based vocalist and veteran performer spanning two decades, joins forces with multi-instrumentalist and producer Rootsonic to release a new original reggae project. Known for their unique blend of classic reggae bubbling with a fusion of melodic R&B, Cojak meets Rootsonic with a captivatingly fresh and soulful sound.
A New Chapter in Reggae Fusion
Cojak’s new musical journey began with the release of the first single, “Trifilizin,” which dropped on January 20, 2025. The track showcases an ethereal mix of hypnotic rhythms, dreamy synths, and deeply emotive vocals, creating a mesmerizing listening experience. The song explores themes of love, confusion, and emotional depth, capturing a psychedelic yet deeply personal vibe.
Following the success of “Trifilizin,” Cojak & Rootsonic will release their next single, “Reggae Brunch,” in March 2025. This track is expected to bring a lively, groove-infused reggae feel, perfectly blending the warm, nostalgic sounds of the ’80s with modern production techniques. An additional song, “Revitalize,” is anticipated in early Summer 2025, promising another soulful and uplifting addition to their growing catalog.
