Agriculture come together with music in Milwaukee as the second annual Farm Music Festival kicked off yesterday, Friday, Oct. 1.
The Collaborative Farm has been partially redesigned to be an educational facility, food production facility and now, a music venue.
It features hip-hop and electronic artists from around the country.
Music fans get the chance to explore the urban farm while the music is played on two stages.
Organizers say the event attracts many different types of people.
"The hip-hop and electronic artists all have their own followings, so there is going to be a younger crowd following all them, but there's a crowd that's been following this place and that's been involved with the urban farm that will be here to support it, so it's going to be a diverse crowd," said Tyler Schmitt, event organizer.
Friday featured a graffiti competition on shipping containers.ย
The Farm Music Festival is scheduled to run until Sunday, Oct. 3.
