A Journey of Redemption and Music
Soulbaita’s musical journey began in San Jose, CA, in 2013 with the release of his debut EP, GOD KNEW, a six-track project that hinted at the raw talent and passion he possessed. However, his rise was temporarily halted by a battle with substance abuse, which kept him from releasing music for nearly a decade. After hitting rock bottom, Soulbaita made a life-altering decision—he got clean in 2020 and found his true calling in his faith.
Since then, he has been relentless, dropping several singles between 2021 and 2024, each one carrying messages of resilience, hope, and transformation. Now, with MORE THAN A CONQUEROR, he aims to deliver his most profound and personal work yet.
The Inspiration Behind “MORE THAN A CONQUEROR”
Soulbaita describes the project as a reflection of his battles and victories.
“This project was inspired and brought to life through the many struggles I endured in life. I grew up in a gang culture and struggled with substance abuse most of my life and wasn’t expected to live past 20. I grew up believing that I didn’t have anything good to offer to the world due to my circumstances. Then I came to know Christ, and everything changed. Now I know my true worth and purpose, and that’s to be a light in this sea of darkness. It’s my hope that my music will encourage the lost, hopeless, and broken to look to the phenomenal, awesome God who changed my life.”
