The queen of rock and roll "died peacefully" at her home in Switzerland on Wednesday, May 24, 2023.
A comfirmatory statement issued by Late Turner's family said that the iconic American musician passed away at her home in Küsnacht, Switzerland, after battling a long illness, Rolling Stone reported.
Tina Turner who was born on November 26, 1939, later lived on to have an her illustrious career which led her to being crowned as the "Queen of Rock 'n' Roll" for her work with the Ike & Tina Turner Revue, and solo performances. Prior to her demise, she was multi-award winner, Turner won her first Grammy in 1972 (with Ike Turner) for "Proud Mary."
