Nicki Minaj, 50 Cent and More Shocked To Hear Of Pop Smoke's Untimely Death

The devastating death of Pop Smoke,  a 20 year emerging up and coming rapper from Brooklyn has left so many Hip hop fans heart broken. The Rap star was shot and killed in an alleged home invasion that took place in the early hours of February 19th 2020 at a Hollywood home. 
The 20 years old rapper lost his life to what appeared to be a home invasion, this was made by TMZ. Local news outlet ABC 7 further reports that police went to the residence in response to a call that came in from an unidentified person on the East Coast who was a friend of someone present at the time of the incident. The rapper was found critically wounded from multiple gunshot wounds when first responders arrived at the Hollywood Hills home. Pop Smoke was rushed to a Cedars Sinai hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

The television station further reports several people were questioned at the scene but later released. Hence, no suspect has been apprehended by the authorities. The police have not yet said whether it was a targeted or random attack, however, according to ABC7, officials suspect his death may be gang-related.

He was just 20 years old and was on the rise to his glory when his young life was cut short. He gained recognition in the Rap world after the release of his single, “Welcome to the Party,” from his debut mixtape, Meet the Woo, which he later dropped a remix for featuring rap empress Nicki Minaj. Most recently, He had just released his second mixtape, "Meet the Woo 2" , which was well-received by fans and critics alike.

A number of old heads in the Rap scene, celebrities and fans of the rapper have taken to social media to express their grief and disbelief while offering prayers to Pop Smoke’s family and loved ones.
