Eedris Turayo Abdulkareem Ajenifuja, popularly known by stage name Eedris Abdulkareem, is a Nigerian rapper, singer, and composer who specializes in hip hop, R&B, and Afrobeat. The then Remedies, now defunct - a Nigerian hip hop boy band, featured him as their lead rapper.

Eedris Turayo Abdulkareem Ajenifuja was born into a polygamous household in Kano, Nigeria; his parents were originally from Ilesha, Osun State, and Ogun State, both in the country’s south-western region. However, he chose to call Kano State his home state. As time passed, he also lost eight of his older siblings and his father when he was only two years old.

He rose to fame after an altercation with American rapper 50 Cent at an event hosted by Nigerian Breweries years back. The incident, which went physical between the two rappers, resulted in Eedris being blacklisted by major Nigerian brands, but it also marked a turning point for Nigerian artists as local businesses started giving them priority spots at important concerts and events.
